Title: Insulation tips Post by: lawrence on December 09, 2007, 18:38:10 pm I want my car to be more quiet. I plan on installing my rear seat soon, so hopefully that will help. A friend told me that I need to stuff something in the openings of the roof channels to reduce the IDA noise. Stock rubber mounts would probably help, but I have polyurethane right now.
Currently I have the stock jute padding on the rear parcel tray/wheel wells, "angel hair" under the headliner, and 1/4"(6mm ;) rubber mat between the pan and carpet. Maybe I should get the airplane ear guards with intercom system or f-16 fighter helmets with the fresh air hose. ???
