I like that artwork.  Where is it from?  I wish I had time (and motivation) to get back into drawing.   :(

Thanks Gunter.  Check out this site for more:  http://www.escarabat.net/imatge/007.meslet.art/meslet.art1.html

I enjoyed looking through a lot of the work.  So much of it captures that great feeling that used to permeate this hobby of aircooled VWs...it's all about So Cal, surfing, skating, etc.

Thanks for posting the cool link, Mike...makes me wish I'd stuck with art instead of the car business!  Thanks also to Fabs for a great sense of humor, too.  8) ;D

I think that drawing captures what a real cal-look sould be. Great color, no trim, nice wheels, The stance and a lot of simplicity. No stupid nerf-bars and tainted rear windows and all that crap (that's from the california-look drawing in hot vw's).

Pure & simple, that's it. Really brilliant.

The picture of Sarge's house needs to have the neighbors barking dogs and Sarge with the shotgun.
