Title: 356 steering box in a ball joint Type 1? Can it be done? Or.....? Post by: Jim Ratto on December 28, 2007, 01:01:35 am has anybody done anything to quicken steering ratio in a Type 1?

Post by: alex d on January 07, 2008, 13:41:17 pm the "how to build baja bugs and buggies" book does mention the use of a 356 box as it was supposed to be sturdier than the stock one, so I don't think it's a very difficult swap.
