Title: bad news & good news

just heard at the tv info this : the FIA don't want more race at the chimay circuit , they  doesn't want more race motor on the circuit of chimay in question, safety, they want new installations on the circuit
here report on the Web site of the chains on which i heard information
but fortunately 3 events are maintained and BUG IN is one of those  :o

Le circuit et la Ville de Chimay ont décidé de suspendre provisoirement l'organisation d'épreuves automobiles sur le circuit, notamment l'Historycar et la VW Fun Cup, en raison de difficultés financières, révèle vendredi Vers l'Avenir.
 
 
Comme de nombreuses communes, Chimay doit surveiller l'évolution de ses finances. La Ville devra notamment, dès l'an prochain, contingenter le personnel qui aidait à la préparation du circuit pour les courses auto et moto.       

En outre, suite à une visite d'homologation du Royal Automobile Club Belge (RACB), ce dernier a insisté sur la réalisation de travaux indispensables à la sécurité et à la mise en conformité au règlement de la Fédération Internationale Automobile (FIA). Trois rails de sécurité doivent notamment être ajoutés d'ici à juillet 2009. Le coût total des travaux est estimé à plus de 600.000 euros.     

Trois événements seraient maintenus sur le circuit au calendrier 2008: l'European Bug In VW les 4, 5 et 6 juillet; le Trophée des Motos Classiques, également en juillet; et le Supermoto, fin septembre.

yeah... we'll we have known about this for a long time... but it doesn't inflict the European Bug In... it's only real racing events that have to have the track aprooved by RACB..
 we do EXPOSITION RUNS only! so we are fine for the moment...
