(http://i13.tinypic.com/8fpblty.png) Outside: The car is painted in Pearl White, good chrome trim outside, running boards with no chrome trim. Decklid has popes nose. Stainless steel Bernard Newbury T-Bars. Overall the paint is good and the bodywork in straight condition, there are a few nicks here and there and some stone chips, underneath is all good with no rust/rot issues. Both rear wings recently replaced. Inside: The car has a Flat 4 GT steering wheel, Gene Berg shifter, Autometer 5 monster tach with shift light and an Autometer oil temperature gauge. The seats (front and back) are finished with a dark grey vinyl side with check cloth insert; the door panels are grey. Carpet set is dark grey, the headliner is stock and in white. Dash has a Javelin radio installed with original speaker, Empi glove box pull. Wheels: The car runs on Flat 4/Enkei 5 spoke wheels (including spare) with Michelin XZX 145 front tyres and Nankang 205/65 rears. Brakes: The car has a dual circuit master cylinder with wide 5 Autocavan disc brakes up front and 67 five stud rear drums. The handbrake has been modified for launch control. Suspension: Funkenblitz 1.5 narrowed beam. Front shocks are Boge, rear are Koni Reds. The car has modified rebound stops. Lowered at front, stock height at the back. Transmission: Rancho Pro Street box with 4:125 R/P, ratios are 3.78/2.06/1.26/0.82. SAW short race axles. Other parts: Mesa fan assisted oil cooler (with switch under dash to turn on/off when required), Mocal oil thermostat, Berg traction bar, Intermediate mount. Engine: Recent full freshen up of the 2165cc at Funkenblitz. Including opening out of chambers to unshroud valves, polished crank, new bearings, honed cylinders, new rings, fresh valve springs, new oil pump, new Pertronix distributor and leads. Compression up from 9 to 1, to 10.1 to 1. New parts installed also include new Engle FK10 cam and 1.4 CB rockers. Full engine spec = 2165cc (78 x 94), Scat crank, Scat H beam rods (5.4), Scat flywheel (12lb), Berg Equaliser front pulley, Stage 2 Kennedy pressure plate, Daiken clutch disc, Mahle 94mm barrels & pistons, Scat straight cut timing gear, CB cam followers, Engle FK10 cam, Manton push rods, JayCee pushrod tubes, 30mm oil pump w/relief cover, Scat 2 Qt deep sump, Cylinder Heads CB Street Eliminators, Valves stainless (40 x 35.5), CB Performance dual springs, chromoly retainers, Ported & polished/chamber job, 1.4 CB rockers, Weber 44 IDF's w/tall manifolds and open velocity stacks, 36mm venturies, Petronix distributor with Pertronix coil, Taylor leads, Bosch plugs, Microdynamics soft cut rev limiter. VWSpeedshop breather tube. Exhaust is stainless 1 5/8 merged header (VWSpeedshop) with 2.5" stainless muffler (VWSpeedshop). (http://i18.tinypic.com/7312247.png) Misc: The .82 4th gear gives cruising on the motorway at 70mph - 3,000 rpm. I have run the car up the Ό mile and last year its best run was a 14.2 at 94 mph. With the engine "freshen" who knows? It certainly pulls a lot better with the cam change and compression change. I have owned this car since 2002; it has been fast, fun and reliable throughout my ownership, looks great and is in good condition. New 12 month MOT & tax exempt. It has been serviced and had all the engine work completed by Pete Roberts at Funkenblitz, including the recent engine freshen up.
