I met you and Rick Mortensen at the Michigan Vintage meet then ! Steve Hollingsworth also gave me a ride in the Berg '67 ! Fun times. :-) Title: Re: Blast from the past....around 1995 or so... If my memory is correct the car and owner were in town for the Phoenix Bug-O-Rama the last VW event (I believe) that Gene attended before he passed away in January of '96. Yeah we made it back to Michigan in '96 and '97. What a wonderful time we had meeting with everyone. I will remember those days forever.
