Title: Re: EMPi 5 Split Rims or Sprints Post by: Ivan on January 17, 2008, 17:18:32 pm Couldn't say, I know Steve still has his one on EMPIs, I sold mine to Jason Reynolds and it ended up a bit battered and dented, repaired with badly mismatched paint, the EMPI Sprints were sold off, the EMPI steering wheel was sold off and then it was sold on to a few people and came up for sale in the back of VolksWorld toward the end of last year for something like £6500 - which didn't seem like a bad deal, until you take into account I sold it for £4500 with the wheels and steering wheel... Oh, and that it was nothing like as clean and cared for as when I had it.

Sprint Stars lately. Factor in that you can have the sizes staggered front to rear, and the fact that every real EMPI 5 Ive ever seen was cracked to shit. Im sold on the Sprints! ;D

I think it is always the composition, that has to be perfect. A nice wheel on a green beetle with t-bars can look totaly wrong on a red one with bumbers. Offset, tire size, stance, the way the wheel arches are filled... lots of different parameters here.
