Title: Re: 51.5 webers ??? Post by: SteveW on January 19, 2008, 09:55:53 am The best ones to buy are the JayCee 51.5mm IDA's, I'm sure it was all over cal-look.com that the empi ones were crap! CB or Vee Dub parts and of course Jack himself are the only stockists as far as I know.
Shawn Geers may also do them(?) but I think his main carbs are the bigger Terminator II carbs.. Title: Re: 51.5 webers ??? Post by: Udo on January 19, 2008, 10:31:36 am Russel
I do the work too if you don't want to ship them so far . Main thing is that you cannot bore every 48 to 51,5 because of the progrssion hole of the idelescrew . I use my own manlfolds for Type1 heads and CB's for superflows . Udo Title: Re: 51.5 webers ??? Post by: Russell on January 19, 2008, 11:47:29 am Udo

For your engine you need all done , bore for 51,5 , larger float chamber , bigger venturis , cut the auxiliary venturi and some good velocity stacks . I do diffenet versions , depends on engine size and needs . Most of the older carbs can not be bored to 51,5 only smaller . Udo |
