Title: Red Dashboard lamp on old Empi gauges Post by: 1957lowlight on January 20, 2008, 20:43:10 pm Hey guys,
Does anyone knows what kind of red lamps were used on the empi-gauge panel to check the oil pressure? I want to install one between my period VDO gauges First picture is an Empi gauge set up which is in my friend Kurt's 1967 Ruby Red Ragtop Second picture is where I want to put it (I think above the gas gauge...) If you have such a redlamp for sale, please let my know... Thanks for the info and pictures... Philip Title: Re: Red Dashboard lamp on old Empi gauges Post by: Russell on January 20, 2008, 22:27:07 pm what about a shift litght very discreet...
Title: Re: Red Dashboard lamp on old Empi gauges Post by: Diederick/DVK on January 20, 2008, 22:39:43 pm brilliant idea!
but how to hook it up if you're not running a monster tach? are seperate shift light modules available? Title: Re: Red Dashboard lamp on old Empi gauges Post by: 1957lowlight on January 21, 2008, 19:43:01 pm Yes indeed, my friends, a little shiftlight would be very cool, but as my RPM tacho is 50 years old, I think, I can't put a shiftlight to that... If anyone has a sollution for this, that would be fine.
