Title: Old pictures Taken round 88-90 in France and UK Post by: j-f on January 20, 2008, 21:12:19 pm Hello,
A friend of mine give me a huge lot of photos he takes when he goes to meeting in his younger time. I don't have a scanner so quality is not good. I think Speedwell know the name of Pascal Close. ;) Some photos are from Super vw nat from Paris and others from Santa Pod, certainly VW action and some from Mons Belgium. WHAT!!!! :o :o :ohahaha i made you look heh? but it is true not many people wanted those in the 80's. i have heard horrible stories about type3's being trashed in fields beacuse they were off no value. so you get reactions like this: " i had one off those, the coupé version, with the sloping roof, yes that was good fun when we trashed it in the field. do they go any money today? .... oh they are that special. oh we should have known better. Its true , I broke a 64 push button dash RHD square back in the late 80,s just for the 1500 box with long axle's and 205 pcd for a straight axle convertion , apparently it was one of the first RHD's . Oh well the box worked well.
