But to be honest I don't understand the whole discussion. In Germany these wheels are called Fuchs because thats their name. So everbody knows which wheel is meant, like you say gasburner or pedrini...

I remember seeing German car magazines when I was a kid like Gute Fahrt,Auto Motor und Sport that showed brand new Porsches on the cover rooster tailing gravel. I always thought what those Germans saw in that? Fuchen up their wheelwells with rocks and gravel as they pop the clutch or drift around a corner for performance shots. It didn't look like they were in the show scene to me. Even recently when you see a German mag. covering the latest RUF, it shows them driving ( for ex.Yellow Bird )along a dirt road... fuchen haulin ass!
