It's rainy and miserable out here so I'm looking at old threads on The Lounge.

I just got from Wal Mart I'm so bored and I hate that damn store. Lot's of inbred local yokels to look at up here in Oregon. They come out of the woods in droves on church day. It was entertaining for a half hour. So now what? Guess I'll have a few cocktails.  ;D

I had a good day. Went out and picked up a driver's side pop out frame from a friend who has a few dozen VW parts cars. (Too bad most of it is rusted beyond use.) I already have the pass side. Cleaned it up and plan to drop it off at the powder coaters this week. Thinking a nice satin black for the frames. Then I can rebuild them and install them on the '67 for some much needed extra ventilation. After that I came home and installed a no-name 1 1/2 qt oil sump, which I drilled and tapped for the temp sensor, on the 1500.  Installing the sump with the engine in the car was a royal, first class, cast iron, PITA. Now I am having a beer.  ;D
