Title: Keeping Cats off my car >:( Post by: stealth67vw on February 06, 2008, 05:39:29 am Do you guys have any ideas to keep my cats off my original paint black 67? Everyday I come out to new scratches and muddy kitty paw prints all over. I've got a BB gun but my GF wouldn't appreciate 4 dead cats in the driveway. I've thought about positively charging the car somehow so if they touch it and ZAP! Again, I don't think my GF would like that.

That should make them go elsewhere.

When he took it out, the upholstery was shredded. Guess after a nap the kitty liked to sharpen his claw on the cloth seats. :D
Another story, back when I had my 71 and still lived at home I had an Siamese/tabby mix that loved to sit in the car while I worked on it. Only problem was he didn't want to leave when I was done. He would bow up and hiss at you if you tried to pick him up. (Cat was mean as hell and crazy to boot.) My Sam does that too, after that, trampling and purring on my chest, No Problem, New Bedsheets every 2 months, No Problem, No more mice shit in the shop, NO PROBLEM ;) |
