what would be a good 'low budget' setup for a 1641? twin 36 dellorto? weber? empi? something else? maybe 40? more less? mahle cilinders? other camshaft? engle W110? 120? +? bugpack? staying with stock? what do you think? Pair of 40's, some decent 40x35.5 ported heads, 8.5:1, exhaling through a 1 1/2" merge. Expect around 95hp.

You should take a look at this Glauco. What i allways donīt understand, if i saw the displacement suggestions...Why donīt use 35,5x32 valves for 1641ccm...Big Valves in such a small displacememt costs low rpm tourque....And with good working stock heads you can rev with right cam to over 6500 rpm...have the right HP (90-100hp) at 6000 upm...Is that not a good point? So and there are less costs for stock heads... pm me if you need more info on the engine. or call me up, i have some rockers, cam, carbs and pistons laying around from that engine. i also have the heads, but they need work. i am not sure what you need for that engine, but i want to help if you like. i am not an expert, but i did make that engine myself. and i have learned a lot afterwards.
