Title: Re: Coolest mirror for a looker Post by: stealth67vw on February 13, 2008, 04:56:21 am It's for when your frying on acid. You can watch your wheels spinning going down the road and still check your blind spot. ;D
Title: Re: Coolest mirror for a looker Post by: John Rayburn on February 13, 2008, 05:02:39 am If you can check the blind spot then is it still the blind spot? I'm confused

Title: Re: Coolest mirror for a looker Post by: Rennsurfer on February 15, 2008, 16:53:47 pm Donny, that's actually a very functional/cool idea. My daily driver is a 1987 Volvo wagon and when my sons were born, I installed a second rearview mirror next to the factory one to watch them in the back seat. (see pic)
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v18/Sumdumsurfer/Cars/Volvo245DL121307.jpg) I got so used to having it there, when they were out of their infant seats, I kept it and use it as a blind spot mirror. Works GREAT! Good to see someone else using one. (disclaimer) Sorry, gang, for not posting a VW pic. D'OH! I have seen racers use something like that so they can keep an eye on the guy in the next lane. --louis Title: Re: Coolest mirror for a looker Post by: Donny B. on February 15, 2008, 17:45:18 pm Quote I have seen racers use something like that so they can keep an eye on the guy in the next lane. It's small but it works very well. I can always tell when someone is coming up on the passenger side without having to turn to look.
