Title: One who needs share his recollections
Post by: nlvtinman on February 16, 2008, 03:37:38 am
I find that the reading the recollections of Jim Holmes, a welcome new addition to the Lounge, is Great!
I am enthralled by the disclosure of where the legendary "Tar Babe" is now residing, and look forward to following it's rebirth.
But the ONE voice that is missing, who's hand was absolutely instrumental in the creation of the beginning of the "Look" is  Greg Aronson.
He created the car gracing the much collected Feb 1975 "CAL LOOK" edition of Hot VW's, the Tar Babe was his car in it's original development.

What might it take to lure this creative man to offer his input as to how he came up with The Start?
Who's friendship with Greg is strong enough to have him join us here at the Lounge? I'd love to hear from him...am I the only one?

It would be cool to see Greg on here, but I doubt he will come to the lounge. Ron told me that Greg is definitely not interested in all these history things. Back in 2000 I asked Greg if he knows how famous he is with the Cal Look people. He said that he doesn't want to be famous and back in the days he just did what he thought was good. Maybe Ron can convince Greg? But like I said, I doubt it.
