a rear empi buckets seats
my back bench isn't attached, and I don't see how not fixed this one well at the rail which is with the lower part of this one,  if not right drilled at the  ends to drill the rail and then to put a bolt on both sides and and to screw the whole with the rail of back seat stand
can you leave your ideas thank you  ;)

Ive always wondered how those seats were secured. We just dropped the one (repro) in Slinger's '67 and left it at that! It really does make sitting in the backseat a pleasure, TONS more head and leg room. We actually started calling "backseat!" instead of "shotgun!" ;)

A genuine Empi back seat has two "nut plates" riveted to the bottom of the seat.
There would be two holes drilled in the rail the supports the seat so it could be bolted to it.
Also, the lower snaps for the seat shouls also be on the rail, not on the seat itself.

Where are these "nut plates" you speak of located?? Got a close up picture? What is the thread?

Whoo... sorry don t know the anwser but i think the rear bucket seat is one off the coolest empi items they ever made.

You can't tell in the picture, but the speakers say EMPI on the grille also !

richard is possible to have another pictures from the seats  ::)  same under view but the entire view of this one   , it's to see where are the hole and the plate to put plate on mine
