Title: 145 80 R15 in central Europ where could I buy??? Post by: GreenTom on February 26, 2008, 09:19:07 am I have a big problem
I roll on 145 65 R15 Bridgestone from smart (very popular size here for 145's) they are one 5,5" repo garburners. I have a huge gap!!! I roll on narrowed beam (CB one 2") and a BP antirollbar and the car is low but the gap is too big, but I can't lower it more cuz the antiroll bar is scratching the flore... I'm lokkoing forward to but CB dropped spindles and rise it on the beam will it work? I mean if it will bring my antiroll bar higher of the flore and minimalize he gap? please give me some adwice... what to do or where could I buy a 145 full profile (145 80 R15) tire in: Germany, Holland, Belgium, Czech republic or Slovakie. I'm from Poland. I believe the XZX 145/15 is sill available. Any local tyre dealer should be able to order a set there. If they can't, you might want to contact them directly. thanks for advices (oh... Yvre, I am fond of your rear tires ! The moulded lip all around matches so kindly with Deep Sixes... I remind it is a pair of Michelin XVS. I found this periode tire on catalogue here in France but I can not afford it at a price about 200€ ! Do you know a bargain on this kind of rubber ? Post by: nicolas on February 28, 2008, 14:55:30 pm why not opt for a tire of the To#¤ta prius it is a 165/65/15 and it is as tall as a 135 tire and wider, but not too big in my opinion. i payed 55 or 60 euros for one.

Even with anti roll bar removed, you would be hitting the ground with your beam, frame head and spear wheel well all the time. You can ignore damaged spear wheel well, but you can't ignore the first two, because they are structural parts. And believe me, you will damage them, unless you buy a trailer to move your car around. Apart from the big gap between the tire and the fender. :) I'm in in the process of dumping my super more seriously. I'm really curious if it's gonna work :) Just a day or two of work on the suspesion and things are going to get clear. We've got polish forum Qbek to talk with eichother :) Tom,As I said, I run a stock beam with Sway-A-Way adjusters, torsion bar, CB dropped spindles and 145/80 tyres. No problems. (I just brought a new narrowed and lowered beam kit from UK but with no antiroll bar.. we just runn out of those). At the moment I have 155/80 R15 Veredesteins on front and 185/80 R15 also veredesteins on the back (145/80 R15 are waiting on my balcony ;) those are remoulded english tyres don't know if will put Them on - just like the look of veredesteins all around ;) ) Jelle thanx :) I'll remember that what make are those tyres You're talking about? by the way thanx for grate time on Sunday. I've tried 145/65 but they are too much "low profile" and you have to lower too much the front suspension for it looks nice on the car. |
