That must have been a few years ago Deano, or the guy didnt know what he had when he sold it to you. A normal dealer frame these days is probably £25/$50. I understood that empi usa frames were about $4 brand new in 1970, they are more than $500 today. I would probably say the frame is an extravagance but not as much as dropping $10000 on some BRMS. Oh well, I know I didnt misrepresent anything, that frame was a beauty! Si. Title: Re: original econo frame Post by: Ivan on March 20, 2008, 12:12:04 pm Wow.... Sadly after many years on the back of my '67, that frame rattled itself to death - it was mounted on one of the mounts which goes between the licence plate light and decklid and it ended up in about five pieces. I wasn't happy! Title: Re: original econo frame Post by: simon uk on March 20, 2008, 14:13:28 pm Wow.... And the one I gave Ivan (Volksworld) years ago, cost me a whole $3.... for the pair.
