Title: Photo shoots. Post by: j-f on March 13, 2008, 21:15:41 pm I'm not a professional, but I will share with you some pictures I took and I like. ;)
Not cal look, but aircooled. First and second are from my "garage". And old place my grand father used to stock grains. third is a waterpump. Fourth is a 1948 beetle. I took it at Bad Camberg vintage meeting. Hope you enjoy :D Title: Re: Photo shoots. Post by: ApeLatex on March 13, 2008, 21:20:05 pm I think these are great! Did you crop them or just adjust the lense?
I was taught by someone I hold in high regards as a photographer that you can shoot a picture and get more in it than you want but you can't zoom in and add more..Does that make sense? I like your pics. It looks like they were taken by the mouse with the spy cam in your garage. Title: Re: Photo shoots. Post by: Harry/FDK on March 13, 2008, 21:22:39 pm Great Garage Pics!

Title: Re: Photo shoots. Post by: ApeLatex on March 13, 2008, 21:55:57 pm I see you have a car and I'm sure you have a great pair of gams. Can you pose next to the car for me?
Maybe put your finger in your mouth and stick your butt out a bit. Perfect. No really, they were great shots. Great thing about shooting digital is you can take a fucking million pictures and not think twice about it until you look at them on the computer. Title: Re: Photo shoots. I'm no pro, but have been taking pictures since I was 8. To answer your query... yes, you're correct about the zoom thing. Don't mistake that... zoomed in pictures are, sometimes, the only option. But if I have the choice, I get close to the subject(s) as possible. J-F, those are good pictures. I especially like the oil can one. I'm also a big fan of black & white images. Nice work. Title: Re: Photo shoots. Post by: ApeLatex on March 14, 2008, 00:42:28 am Funny thing about photography. My old boss taught me how to shoot race cars and stuff.
http://store.grandprix.com/shop/index.php?cPath=7_34 There are some of his photos. He was really patient teaching me at the track and oddly enough TRUSTED me to hold his expensive camera...and I'm rather clumsy. Luckily no cameras or people were injured. I'd like to save up for a nice camera and do some shots. All of the pictures of my car are dorky and I just want them to go away. |
