Are you still using the original 5 spokes? Then I suggest looking into Steve Walker's post about tires last week. He ordered them from Longstone Tyre in England. I have received tires from them as well and they have the Pirellis that we ran back then. They need a tube, though. The tread patterns are right on and the look is correct. Just a thought. I don't mind the look at all, they seem like a proper "vintage" tire from back in the day.
Sure, I'd love to run all Michelins, but they're too cost prohibitive.
