Title: Re: 2387 engine with carb issue Post by: GetBackOnTrack on April 15, 2008, 06:54:20 am Interresting beetlebug, im gonna try that next time I get the chance to work a little on the car.
But the funny thing is I put my buddys floater and vent in my carbs, (he has a set of aftermarket 48 ida with steal vent) and the problem was solved.. But I think he wants them back again :P Title: Re: 2387 engine with carb issue Post by: BeetleBug on April 15, 2008, 07:57:50 am Interresting beetlebug, im gonna try that next time I get the chance to work a little on the car. Title: Re: 2387 engine with carb issue Post by: GetBackOnTrack on April 15, 2008, 09:21:43 am Maybe because of the steel vent yes, but dont know for sure... Is the glass ball vent normally more sensitive than the steal ones?

Title: Re: 2387 engine with carb issue Post by: GetBackOnTrack on April 17, 2008, 20:32:45 pm So, I got the problem fixed I think :-\ Bend the little thing on the floater back and forth a couple of times and came up with a setting that worked out.But how can I be sure that the chamber is full when the glass ball vent close for the flow? So that I will not run out off gaz when I put the pedal to the metal 8)
