Title: welded (as in repaired) ali cases
Post by: Rocket Ron on April 19, 2008, 17:09:31 pm
Hi guys

Would you use a ali case with a crack that's been repaired by welding to the area around the full flow oil return for a hi power engine ?

Cheers

Ron

I've used a Mag case which had to be repaired after the machinist got a bit carried away with the mill with no problems, JB weld should sort it out ;D

As long as it can withstand the oil pressure you will be fine using it.
