A true hard core car has to have a name....not some flimmsy female name like the Pro Stock engine builder uses for there motors, no a hard core name. So my friend met up with me one night and we had a joyfull evening talking V-dubs and generally having fun. He was going to name his car and had some basic ideas of what he wanted. This was in 98 or so so no one else was doing it. Our exchange of opinons ended with me saying......"why be shy and try to make some informal message....go for the direct message....so we named it the Boulevard Bomber!"

It was so cool to see the car comming up the alley....full of stickers and a broad message on the door stating "Boulevard Bomber".....Thats doing it with class, direct and without any guesswork for the onlooker!!

I remember seen Pictures of that car in different Magazines, very cool Car BTW...

I sometimes refer to my car as 'Java Juiced' ;)

I guess I'm not creative (or gay ;) ). I call my car the sixty-seven.

 If I was to name a Gasser I would call it: "Dutch Threat"
( derived from "dutch treat" which means that everybody pays for themselves. )
 

Guys my next Nostagia car will be "Irn Bug" after a well know scottish drink call "Irn Bru" Made in Scotland from Girders !

i called my car " granny's nightmare " because one time when i drove in a tunnel and floored it i saw an old woman almost falling off her bike from the noise i think. kinda cruel but funny though  ;D

I havent even seen it in almost 3  months :( I hope to start the teardown this winter.

I named our car the "Loco Moco". Many of my friends would refer to this green car as the crazy booger.

I call my red 67 cherrybomb.

I've been calling the blue car...."The Blue Car" since '99 when it was restored.

Before that, circa late 1970s, "the Blue Car" was our '70 Dodge Challenger, which was the exact color as the current Blue Car.

After seeing the DKP cars for the first time I named my 58' "Gruntcakes".

Although by current standards it wasn't that bad  ;D

The 'name' we refer to my blue '69 came along way back in '81 when my brother purchased personalized plates ... "WARP 2" ... all other Warp numbers were taken and still are to this day.
Ever since, those in the know refer to the car as 'Warp'.
It is what it is ...

I feel they all have personalities...so why not name them...every VW I have had for any length of time has had a name...and I'm FAR from gay...Quik and Dirty, because that's how it was born. Tye Dye because it looked Tye Dyed. Pumpkin', cause it was orange, Agent '99 cause it's a covert sleeper with a nice body...The new Progas Ghia has been tenativly named "Down and Dirty"... and on and on...

In 1980-ish my 63 Vert was known as.....  The Pervertable
