Title: OFF and UK Streetracers at Gary's Picnic
Post by: Phil West on May 13, 2008, 11:55:17 am
Mate of mine at work (he writes for American Car World) is a member of the Uk streetracers club http://www.uk-srs.co.uk/  and his club will be there at Gary's Picnic.  He's a top bloke and his lot are up for any heads up if we happen to be in the fire up lane with them.  They don't have many rules for their club other than street legal, so there's plenty of variety there although most tend to be running eight cylinders.  Him and I both run in the 11.8s (he has a Z06 straight out of the box) so a grudge match for me looks inevitable.  Most of their cars run 10's 11's with some either side of that.  Anyway always worth the extra exposure if we get a mention in their mag.....

Cheers
Phil

I've just been looking at their site and they have some nice toys, it'll be good to run a few passes with them. There's a nice little '68 Chevrolet Camaro SS on there with 3 or 4 potential matches as it stands...

 :D
