Title: cut or not to cut Post by: banditina on May 20, 2008, 04:37:01 am HI, i have a beetle 1963 with BRM flat4 5" Michelin zx 145's, I am thinking a 4cm narrowed beam or a stock beam....

This is a matter of taste but in my opinion a real looker doesn't need the wheels tucked further in than necessary. A narrowed beam is ok if you need it to make the wheels sit right due to offset issues, but you should have no problems at all with the Flat4 BRM's and 145's.
