Title: finished or not?
Post by: 67worshipper on May 27, 2008, 10:26:24 am
as justincase said how many cars are actually finished.they look finished at the shows but the owner will always tell a different story.once the cars finished in the eye of the owner more often than not it ends up being for sale so the owner can start again.

finished = 1, then after 5 yrs on the road, changed my mind, so now its not finished and hasn't been since 2001.  The aim now is speed not looks, but I hope to ultimately achieve both!  So once the engineering is finished, it will be time for a respray!

Like i said in the other topic, iīm glad that i get to drive my car. Is it ready and done? No. Will it ever be, that i donīt know. I know that i got some goals to reach along the way building my dream cal-looker. And that keeps me going every time to go our garage and fiddle around my car.  :D

Like I said in the other thread, they're not finished until they're sold!

My first car back in the early '80s was finished long before I sold it. I owned it for six years and enjoyed many thousands of miles along the way.

My current car is far from finished. Still need to build an engine, replace the headliner with the correct era stitching,  and replace the black carpet with the correct salt/pepper color. Then, it WILL be finished.

It's all subject to opinion(s). So I disagree.
