Big respect to the fire crews at Shakie for they spotted the accident mid track and were on the gas before Bernie even pulled over. Without their amazing response the damage to Stich Up would have been even more extensive. A big round of applause to their dedication. Thank you Matt and everyone else who has posted or phoned me. I agree about the fire crew as I have now cleaned the mess and the bodywork is nothing that Simon cannot handle easily. Fire damage to the interior is not a problem as I know a man that can sort that. ;) I will not know the damage to the engine until it is stripped later this week but I am hoping the heads are ok.
