Title: My 1967 1500 rat/cal
Post by: FSR on June 02, 2008, 04:55:00 am
Not a big project, but got some nice pictures to share :)

Since I bought it I haven't done much besides swapping the red US rear light lenses with orange/red euro ones, added the missing hood trim and the indicators on the front fenders. Future plans include changing the mixed year/color interior for a stock red one and give the 1600 engine some tlc. If I get around to it I might swap the wheels fore something nicer. In time, I hope to restore it, but at the moment I just want it to be a nice daily driver with some attitude :)

VERY nice pictures! And I like the wheels, they look great on a car like yours.

Thanks guys. Pretty happy with the pics as I am still a n00b at photography...

BeetleBug: You can have them if you like. I don't like them :P

JHU: Glad to be back as well. Those japanese cars are too expensive to fix!

I've always had a soft spot for flat black bugs. I love it.
