Post by: bang on June 24, 2008, 16:11:36 pm
have anyone tryed to fit cooling tin with jp heads? do you use s/f tin or modyfi stock?. my engine is a oxy boxer with 30 hk fan house. and i use 5,7" rods so it is a bit wider than stock..

I have done it but I had very low pin height, so it was narrower than stock, but on the other hand: A wider engine does only affect the case side of the cooling tin and and almost every stroker has the same problem.
The JPM heads are like any Superflo/Competition eliminator: They are very big around the intake manifold. Cut/hammer and take your time, it is easier to cut twice than weld back material again.
