Does the lego kit have oil stained decklid?

it comes with a decal. And since it is lego, the motor comes out really easy so you can snap in a borrowed replacement on an as needed basis.

But the necessary bricks will only be available without prior notice...

if , like me you fail to build it properly , you can apply to lego for one of these , to splash about underneath the rear of the model .

Cripes, while you're at it... better commission Lego™ to mold a sweater to wear around the dude's neck, so he can pose behind the car. Everyone dose(sic) that, ya know.

 ;D

They got to be kidding... Did they hire a blind designer there at the LegoHQs or what???  That shitpile of plastic doesn't even look like a beetle/bug...
And they charge you f*ing 120 quid for that. Even my 10 year old cousin, who never touched any Lego before (seems like kids nowadays only play computer games  ::) ), can do waaay better than that...

A round car out of square pieces doesn't work too well.

Sounds like Berglar's motor.

HAHAHA!!! Affirmative... all that's missing are the oil drips, strategically placed in various places, throughout the engine.

Lego did do a chassis that was VW inspired about 20 years ago - rear engined, flat four (square pistons though!) - I had one! It was the biggest kit in the Technic Lego range at the time. ;)
