Nothing like Fontucky in July! ;D Well, my friend, that's exactly the reason that I'm not quite sure about going. I usually hit the Inland Empire skateparks, except the summer. It's way too hot out there for me. I'm spoiled and live near the beach. But if a few of us are motivated, I'll go for sure. I can't say I'm excited about going, although the internet weather outlook is calling for high 90°s. Not too terrible. It was well over 110° at Famoso in Bakersfield a few weeks ago and the Blue Car didn't like it one little bit!
I think if it were not for being in the PRA championship series, we would pass on this one. I really don't like Fontana as a race track. It's basically a parking lot. Should be a full contingent of west coast PRA racers as well as a bunch of the usual southern california crowd that can't bring themselves to make any races outside their area. The unfortunate thing about Fontana is that it's a slow track compared to others in California. I don't know what it is, but I can set up our pit area in a clear area away from the crowds, and very soon, it's so jammed in we can barely navigate in and out of our pit space.

I know some of the PowderPuff ladies will be there for sure. Myself Candy Larsen Dee Berg Kathie Craig I can bet Courtney Berg, Margo Grise. Esther Dempsey, Bre & Kelly Dunkel will be there also + others. Hopefully we will have a big PowderPuff Class. I wish that we could have all of the ladies that were at EBI2 racing also. What a wonderful bunch of ladies that I got to race with there. Adele-Karin-Jo-Ingrid-Heather-Vanessa! :) I know that Adele & Jo from England will be here for Las Vegas in October, and they will be racing there in the regular classes. Good Times!
