Title: They say the Memory is the first thing to go!
Post by: Rick Meredith on November 01, 2006, 23:18:27 pm
On Monday I had to blast home from work in the middle of the day to solve a computer problem for my daughter.

I started heading back to my office and I decided that the Santa Ana Freeway would be backed up with traffic and it would be quicker to take surface streets. I was driving the same roads that I used to drive a lot in my youth. A couple of these streets were the same ones that I took to OCIR. They were 2 lane roads through farm country then...now the area is all built up with houses, shopping centers and 6 lane roads. So I had the radio off and was reminiscing about my '67, going to Bug-Ins, drag races and so on. I remembered that I started selling auto parts in June of '78. I know I bought my car in the fall and that I bought it before I started selling auto parts so I must have bought it in 1977.

Dunno why I thought it was '78.

I applied at Auto-Haus at the same time that I applied at BAP. Unfotunately, they turned me down.
