Title: Empi GT Padded steering wheel
Post by: roland on July 13, 2008, 14:57:51 pm
I'm selling my empi GT "padded" steering wheel.

Got this one when i started restoring the 68, always loved that wheel. But in the end got something else for the car and so now i don't have a use for this one.

It's really in a good shape. The rim "foam" is clean & totally usable on a restored car. The big horn button is looking good but has cracks on the inside and is missing the logo. Guess the cracks could be fixed with glue. The horn button mechanism is complete except for the spring, but i'm sure there's a way to figure that out. the centre could use some new paint.

I know the logo is quite hard to find, i didn't mind because i was going for something different (a DAS round badge that would just fill the hole). I'm sure you could put a club badge there and make it look really good and different.

I'm open to PM price offers since i don't really know what to ask for it with the missing logo. But i'm not a fool so don't expect it to go for 200€ ;)
