Title: A good time with friends.... Post by: SOB/RFH on July 23, 2008, 20:52:07 pm I (Sweden) spent some time with Steve Dalton (US) and Richie Webb (UK)....drinking tea (It is “awesome rad tea” if you are from OC) and enjoying the development of our beloved Volkswagen motors and cars, all at the Bug-In 2......It was so filled of fun and it all ended with drag racing getting started as sun went down. All this could have been at a parking lot in So Cal or Sweden or wherever. I sort of miss the time when you could, spontaneously go down town, cruise for a while, stop and chat with friends, enjoy good tech gossip and end at a very local race track. .......I guess age, values, politics and development has taken that away. Do the V8/Hot Rod/Bikers at your part of the world have these outing up and running, because where I live, the whether is good, but no one is out cruising anymore!! 8)

I have also looked at the ricers, that noice part is true and the last few words about worth the effort sounds good to me :) SCC or not....Dechrome or not...Old school selfdestructing race motors or modern ones with longivity.... a few of the big universal questions we have to deal with...........well to give some kind of a statement: bring the tea and we'll see how it all ends :) Title: Re: A good time with friends....
