Anyone now the exact "name" for lexan?
Something like polyca.......

I have been a purchaser in the plastics industry for 9 years so this one is easy!
Polycarbonate, PC is the common name.
Lexan is a trade mark from GE (General Electric).
There are many different grades of PC and if you are looking for PC for windows I recomend a quality that is coated for increased scratch resistance.
Lexan Margard FMR5XT is a good quality if you need to bend it like the rear window on a bug.
If it is straight like the side and front windows use Lexan Margard MR5E.
These materials go for close to 130 € /square meter so it isn't cheap.
