stop goofing off looking up dumb images and get that car running.... WTF's the matter?

I don't have a lot of time and when I do have time, I'm drunker than hell  ;D I am so flippin close I can barely stand it. Just waiting for stupid stuff like valve springs, AN fittings and an alternator. I plan on pulling the warmed up stocker turn key and plugging it directly into my baja, so the 2165 will also have to be turn key as it is my daily driver and has to be running immediately. My ultimate plan is to drive it to the fall Sac Bug-O-Rama 900 miles round trip. We'll see.

Well I'm making some progress. All of the valve train is set up. 4046 Bugpack springs set up .650 to bind (thanks Rick Sadler) , CB 1.4 rockers (.566 valve lift), Berg pushrods are dialed in. Long block may be together this tweakend. I'm still debating in my head to go with either the OEM 36hp shroud and a big galley aluminum 356 oil cooler or the new Brazilian doghouse shroud and cooler I have.

That reminds me. Which way do you guys install the cam plug. I always install mine with the open side towards the cam. I've seen them both ways.

I didn't get squat done today. I took my kids on a 5 mile hike at Indian Mary Park in Galice, Oregon.

I thought Ratto was banned from this forum....
If he spent half the time working on my motor as he does rambling here, it would be done >:(

I set it straight up since I couldn't find any retard washers for my Magnum gears. If I want to change it later it will be fairly easy.

I'm painting the tin as I type this. I was going to powder coat but I ran out of money being laid off and all. I still need AN Fittings and oil and fuel lines.

-100. I'm still in a holding pattern until I can afford AN fittings and a 1 3/4 heater box header. We skipped fall up here. We went from 95F 2 weeks ago to 50F during the day. My vagina hurts when it gets cold so I need a heater.  ;D

Berg 1 3/4" heater boxes and merged header has been ordered! I should have it Friday or Monday. They were out of stock on mufflers ::) I had a Berg merged heater box muffler but like an idiot, I sold it to axm48ida. So now I have to cut off the header flange and adapt some kind of big muffler.

The high temp for tomorrow is only going to be 48F (8C). I'm tired of toughing it out and scraping ice off the inside of my windows. I can't wait to have heat again.
