Title: The new world of gear head media.............
Post by: SOB/RFH on July 26, 2008, 20:50:00 pm
....So David freiburger left Primedia and the world of Hot Rod Magazine........took of and left us in silence, but lo and behoold, I found him right there on Internet......moving cars, devolpment for racing tried on the street, tech parts, burn-outs, racing on the track, The F-bomb....It is all there and for real........http://www.carjunkietv.com/.........as good as ever it feels like getting a lost part of life back on track.......spicy to say the least. And cars in motion!! That is the good news. David is on the track and he is there with a fresh new media.

So, on a note.
When are we gonna get our beloved Volkswagens in there? We, the readers (or better whatchers) can apply with burn-outs and car of the week. We need to get this media a dose of Volkswagen vitamins.....who knows where this will end?

You must realize that Primedia was the entity that owned and shut down VW Trends. I don't think they care too much about us.

Primemedia is huge. They own Surfer AND Surfing magazines. That's only a couple in a vast sea of many. No pun intended, of course. John's right... they're huge and they don't care.
