Title: What's shakin' in SoCal?
Post by: javabug on July 29, 2008, 20:34:09 pm
5.8 or so this morning?  You guys enjoy the ride?  Not sure I could stomach that, or the anticipation of it happening at any time.

We've had two plus a bunch of after shocks now , all centered in Chino. Not to fear, it's Sarge conducting his covert underground experiments for the Government again. Thanks loads Sarge! You knocked over our t-shirts!

I thought of Sarge when I saw an aftershock located in his rich neighbors' 'hood, Chino Hills.  Fukn Snoop Dogg n' shiat.

As long as everybody is alright...stay safe.

A sorta funny story:
My wife's good friend who lives in Murrietta and is originally form the Temecula area worked out here in PA for a few years (that's how they met).  One day we were getting lots of rain and storms and the girl from CA is griping "what's with all this thunder and lighting?!?  I don't know how you put up with this stuff."  To which my wife replies, "What are you complaining about, where you come from the ground shakes."  "That's easy to deal with!" was the reply.

You guys out there are weird.

Sarge, glad to hear that you're all okay.

Yeah, but c'mon... they ARE tourists. It's their fault.
