Title: Rear body mounts
Post by: louisb on August 03, 2008, 13:55:25 pm
What year did they change the rear body mounts, that connects to the shock towers, on beetles?

Thanks,

Thanks guys. I am specifically looking for when they changed the mounts around teh 67-68 model. I need to buy a new mount and there seems to be some difference as which is the right one. Everyone markets either 66 and earlier or 68 and later.

Thanks,

we supply the 68- for 67 models, it's not perfect but it's a betterfit than the -66 one and it has the mounts for the z bar ;D

I won't be using the Z-Bar so that is not a concern. Do you have to relocate the mount on the '68 and later? That is what I am really concerned with.
