Title: 1966 Type 1 Has to Go! Post by: Worm on August 26, 2008, 05:42:34 am What a bummer.... The car I just spent the last 18+ months building for my son has got to go. Long story, but she's now for sale. So many new parts it's just too stupid to list. Its almost all good stuff on this ride. The bad, needs headliner eventually, needs a quick shot of paint up front, the old clear coat is failing in some places. No rust issues on the car. There was a small patch on low qtr on drvr side, now fixed. Rebuilt 1600 (less than 700 miles on motor) w/dialed in AJ Sims Kadrons, brand new Bosch Alternator and battery, entire brake system is basically new including rear E-cables, rebuilt front susp. w/adjuster, new Smart car tires up front, 205's rear, all new trim, carpet kit, blah blah blah... you can see. This car needs a tiny bit more love and it would be just insane. Car must go to quality buyer. Please feel to call or e-mail me with any questions. $5500 USD obo.
