WOW...that GT3 is the "SHIT!"  Hard to imagine from a manufacturer that brought us the 100LS, the 5000, and unintended acceleration, huh?

Hmmm I love the white.  I caught a glimpse of a gray or black one here right by my work one morning about a month ago.  Pretty wild.

Funny that you also took a picture of the price tag; 186 000 USD. Thats 950 000 Norwegian kroner.. Ok, I had little look around to compare and I found 3 R8 for sale in Norway. Here is one;

Look at the price; 2 039 000 Norwegian krones! And it is a used car!

I then used the import calculator from the customs in Norway and punched the numbers;

You guys! ::) ;D  The interesting thing about the one we have in the showroom is that we are a VW / Audi (under one roof) dealership.  Audi will not even let us have an R8 unless we are a stand-alone Audi dealership (which will happen some time in 2009 when the franchise splits and moves across the street).  A customer who knows our owner bought the white car for what we believe to be around $130,000 from another dealership and sold it to us to put on the showroom for a "slight" mark-up.  How's that? :o ??? ::)

The R10 is awesome but so was the R8 gas/turbo race car it replaced.
Do you suppose the R8 race engine specs were more impressive than the 917/30 with over 1200hp available?
These motors were built 35 years apart, be cool to see dyno specs for both.

Nice, just needs some DTM dive planes around the wheel arches. 8)
