Title: Would I be overclutched? Post by: airstuff on August 29, 2008, 21:08:26 pm I'm still deciding on which cam to run in my 2276,but cam choice isn't my question right now.I see a topic about this which is just active
My problem is,that I want to know whether I would have too much clutch with my Kennedy Stage 2 in my 72.street car if I chooce to run something like Engle 125 or other milder cams,milder then FK45 ?? i ll tell you how it works when the car is driving... i am just going to make a longer "clutch arm" by welding a second one on another one.. you can also buy a 100 mm version i think, i just dont know where... I have had cars with a stock clutch that has been harder. I can assure you that my friends Big Block Impala with manual trans, wire clutch and a harder cluch plate gives you a gym session every time he uses it... That's what I call a hard clutch... Post by: Zach Gomulka on August 30, 2008, 18:20:47 pm I tried a stage 1 pressure plate with the 100mm clutch arm and the pedal felt like a stocker, but obviously gripped much better. I'll be getting 2 or 3 of those from you Bruce, as soon as I get around to measuring some cross shafts.
