Title: Fuel Gauge
Post by: Buttons on August 31, 2008, 21:04:05 pm
I'm in need of a fuel gauge in my '56 Oval.
There's only so many times dipping a stick in to measure can amuse you!

Whats the best way of going about it?
Can i just use any old sender in the tank? As it needs a hole making in the tank, i just wanted to how others went about it before i get over enthusiastic with my drill!

I was hoping to use an Autometer gauge to match the rest of the ones i have, but if thats not a feesable option, i dont mind using something else.... i'll just hide it away, out of sight!

Be cool to hear your thoughts or experiences.....

I'm thinking about this item for my oval project. It's may be a good solution, beetwen og style and a touch of 21 century

ummmm, i'm liking the look of that!
Is it just a case of drilling tank, dropping in sender (which sender would you use?) and wire to the gauge??
