Title: Fuel Gauge Post by: Buttons on August 31, 2008, 21:04:05 pm I'm in need of a fuel gauge in my '56 Oval.
There's only so many times dipping a stick in to measure can amuse you! Whats the best way of going about it? Can i just use any old sender in the tank? As it needs a hole making in the tank, i just wanted to how others went about it before i get over enthusiastic with my drill! I was hoping to use an Autometer gauge to match the rest of the ones i have, but if thats not a feesable option, i dont mind using something else.... i'll just hide it away, out of sight! Is it just a case of drilling tank, dropping in sender (which sender would you use?) and wire to the gauge?? |
