Title: Upgrade brakes on a 55 oval Post by: Bendik on September 10, 2008, 20:39:36 pm I am starting work on getting my 55 roadworthy. The brakes need a going over and I thought I might build them right the first time. I am confined to using drums as I would like to use some 14" alloys. On the rear it is pretty straight forward with the Type 3 conversion, but what do I do on the front. I remember reading something about using later drums on the front with some brake cylinders from the rear?? Can anyone enlighten me?
