Title: Do you have a shiftlight with a vdo tacho? Post by: wolfswest on September 24, 2008, 13:24:57 pm Hi guys,
Probably a dumb question but I'm not yet familiar with the vdo options... I sold my autometer tacho and bought me a vdo period correct tacho. But I guess I will miss my shiftlight... What are the options? Are there vdo options, autometer options... others?? ??? I'm running a 009 distributor with compufire replacement and a basic bosch coil... so nothing special like a vertex or something else... Dem Title: Re: Do you have a shiftlight with a vdo tacho? Post by: Harry/FDK on September 25, 2008, 20:18:11 pm Hi Dem,
Autometer or MSD are using Pills or RPM boxes. I used and sold about 3 ProForm shiftlites with no P's. :D Now what would be really cool, if you have access to a electronic guy who knows his stuff, then you could go the hidden LED way, from what i've heard it should not be that hard to fabricate. Just my 2 cts. Title: Re: Do you have a shiftlight with a vdo tacho? Post by: wolfswest on October 02, 2008, 19:42:55 pm Hi Dem, Autometer or MSD are using Pills or RPM boxes.
