Post by: nicolas on September 27, 2008, 19:03:24 pm PM the 'meateater'. he can probally hook you up. ;D
seems like you are going to change a few things here and there. not sure what will be done and what not, but going duals is a good option but maybe not the most economical. have you thought off kadrons? they seem to be a good carb for your engine and 'easy' to keep in tune and parts are relatively easy on hand. but i know you will say no and have some vintage setup in your closet ;D. but its what i'd do, set up a kadronset with some nice filters and some cool accents. I've been trying to get hold of "Steakboy" for a week >:( ;) :) He still has my sat nav, I am still not sure about the 1.25's as I am changing enough things as it is - ie exhaust/header - carbs - linkage - licence plate mount - belt guard might not fit with new header ::) etc etc etc etc ::) ;) :) oh yeah and I still might put some white wide steel wheels (bandeds) on there :o :) Title: Re: 1.25's rockers - Anyone??? Post by: nicolas on September 27, 2008, 20:17:38 pm i think the 1.25's will move the poweband up a few 100rpms and not change that much else. so on the buggy you can do it as you have the w100 in there that gives a lot off torque.
what exhaus are you adding. bored off the tunnelsounds? Title: Re: 1.25's rockers - Anyone??? Post by: Lee.C on September 27, 2008, 20:28:58 pm this one - WITHOUT the stinger - I'm have a single quite pack like Robs, do you think I will have to do much with the pushrods if i go for the 1.25's ie change length etc ???
P.S i'm not bored of the tunnel sounds I just want a little peace and quiet ;) :) Title: Re: 1.25's rockers - Anyone??? Post by: Martin Greaves on September 28, 2008, 13:39:33 pm I got some 1.25 rockers Lee PM me your number as i have lost all my number on the my phone.
Title: Re: 1.25's rockers - Anyone??? Post by: alex d on September 30, 2008, 12:52:32 pm I have a set of 1.25 scat pro-street rockers (without shafts, just the rockers), they have had the underside machined to clear swivel feets, but someone got carried away machining, but I guess they are still usable, you can get them for free if you want, let me know!
