thanks fabs.... maybe it's just me, but I love that car. Put a 48IDA 1914 in it,  and you'd have Sheep's car from 1993 exactly!

What a time warp!  I used to work with Chuck at Mark Howard VW in Garden Grove around 1980.  He was a mechanic and I was the bastard parts guy he had to get parts from at the back counter.

I used to make him want to kill me.

Those were great days...

What a great car! And for that time period... VERY daring and different. No one was leaving the chrome on their cars, back then. You were a freak, if you did.
