Scored these at my local Hot Rod Shop (K.A.R.S.) today. Does anybody know who made or makes them ?

Yes, its Tristan Louwaars. He's having a new awesome shop here in Heerlen.

They look suitably groovy.  Any tags on them?

Nothing at all.
The four thread inserts on the bottom are metric. The frames are really high quality sturdy built.

Sorta reminds me of a pair of seats I got a couple years ago, only markings on them are tiny badges on the backrest that say "Paddy Hopkirk", but could be easily removed.  Nothing else that I remember on the seats for information.  And yes, four threaded inserts on the underside.

Mine are a different style and recline, however.

I didn't want to pollute your thread, but since you asked...   ;)

It should also be noted that these are super-light!  Much more so than one would expect for recliners.

BF-torino has a line of classic sports seats. I saw them in a 911 RS replica, i think was the Rally ST model, and liked them. Hire is the link to their site with prices, dimensions and weights, if somebody is interested.
