Title: Hard Lines & IDAs Post by: louisb on December 02, 2008, 23:45:36 pm Anyone have any good pics, or suggestions relating to, running hard lines for IDAs? I am debating using SS hard lines instead of SS flex hose for running the fuel to my IDAs.

Lines come from regulator attached to shroud. That is a nice clean looking setup. i recommend some type of flex line between motors and body/pan, any engine movement will cause wear on hardlines and will definitly ruin your day and probably empty your fire extinguisher. Yeah, I figured on using a soft line between the chassis and the engine. Probably connected to the pressure reg. --louis Title: Re: Hard Lines & IDAs Post by: The Ideaman on December 03, 2008, 03:58:50 am On the above setup, a braided line connected the regulator to the car through a bulkhead fitting. The curves in the line take up the growth of the motor while running.

But it looks like they are made for a 36hp shroud and I am running a Thing fan shroud. Not sure it would fit. Thanks, --louis |
